SDG Lab Heilbronn at experimenta
At the “SDG Lab Heilbronn” event, organized by TUM Heilbronn and UNGSII, representatives from all over the world came together to talk about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
The SDGs cover a wide range of goals, including the eradication of poverty, quality education, climate action and the promotion of sustainable cities and communities. These goals were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 and serve as a global roadmap for sustainable development by 2030.
During the event, ideas were collected on how Heilbronn can become an SDG city and what role the Bildungscampus can play in this. The suggestions for implementing the sustainability goals ranged from an SDG Erasmus Café to an interactive climate change game. The Bildungscampus focuses on cooperation: together with its partners, it wants to achieve the 17 goals and thus make a contribution to a sustainable future.
With many exciting contributions and impressions from different regions such as New Delhi, San Marino and Jubail, the event demonstrated the important contribution that the SDGs can make to sustainability transformation.
An important milestone has already been reached on the Bildungscampus with the development of the #Vision2030 sustainability strategy. This strategy is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and lays a solid foundation for building further projects on the SDGs in the future.
