Health is important, which is why an innovative, telemedicine solution is available on the Bildungscampus: The care.box. The S | Medical-Center offers digital consultations with a general practitioner there – an accessible way to get quick medical advice, without long waiting times. The costs are covered by health insurance, just like a regular doctor’s visit.

Where do I find the care.box?
The care.box is located on Bildungscampus Nord across from the LIV Library (BC 15) right next to the shop.box. You can find the site plan here.
What do I need to consider if I do not have German health insurance?
In this case, please be sure to bring the following documents with you:
- ID card/passport (for identity and address confirmation)
- Proof of health insurance
Students from the EU: Please present your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or the provisional replacement certificate (PEB).
Students from non-EU countries: Please clarify in advance whether your insurance is recognized in Germany and bring a corresponding proof of eligibility.
If you cannot provide valid proof of your health insurance, we must treat you as a private patient. In this case, you will receive an invoice from us after treatment, which you must pay yourself first. You can then submit these costs to your health insurance for reimbursement. Please take care of the clarification with your insurance in good time before your appointment.
