Canteen & Café

The canteen Mensa is located very central at Bildungscampus 8 and is operated by the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg.The inner courtyard provides lots of natural daylight and offers additional protected seating in the open air. The menu changes on a daily basis: compose lunch individually from a number of different main courses and side-dishes. Salads, soups and desserts round off the culinary delights. 
Outside of mealtimes the canteen may be used by students as a place to learn.

There is a café on the ground floor of Bildungscampus 13. Seating areas are available both indoors and outdoors. For breakfast or an in-between snack offering the Café bakery products and or a small lunch as well as hot and cold drinks.

Opening Hours

All information on the opening times can be found on the website the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg.

At various locations on the Bildungscampus, you can find snack and drink vending machines offering a variety of hot and cold drinks. Reverse vending machines for empties are also located here. The exact locations of the vending machines can be found on the site plan in the 'Catering' section. Paying here as well by CampusCard. 

The shop.box is your convenient 24/7 solution for long study nights, exciting exam days or small everyday purchases. You can use the app to buy snacks, small meals, drinks and a selection of everyday essentials 365 days a year. The shop.box is open to students and members of campus staff and works just like a takeaway market.

The prerequisite for access and shopping is registration in the shop.box app. Payment is made via the credit card provided during registration or via Klarna.
