bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​ is a campus-wide online platform and digital point of contact for the Bildungscampus location and its institutions. All information and topics concerning life on the campus are centralized, comprehensive, and kept up-to-date for you here.

The bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​ platform may be accessed by all Bildungscampus members of staff and students in possession of a personalized CampusCard.

Upon registering for the first time, you will receive a registration email. Alternatively, registration may be initiated on the bildungscampus.life login page. During registration, details such as your matriculation or staff number and your institution will be requested. Moreover, since the CampusCard also serves as an ID card, a digital passport photo of you will be taken. For the identity check, please keep a valid photo ID at the ready, such as an identity card or passport.

If you already have an existing user account, your data was migrated to the new, campus-wide bildungscampus.life platform by the system on September 1, 2022 (previously PaymentPortal in bildungscampus.cards). Your login data remains unchanged. When you log in for the first time, we ask you to assign a new password.

The CampusCard is your ID Card on the Bildungscampus. By imprinting a photograph on your CampusCard it is clearly assignable to your User. Thus, misuse of your identity by another person can be ruled out. The photo can be managed in your User Account on bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​.

When registering for the first time on bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​ you will be asked to go through the Video-Ident procedure or to perform a manual photo upload. Afterwards the photo can also managed in your User Account on bildungscampus.life.

There are two ways to create the photo:

1. Video-Ident procedure
   You can go through the Video-Ident procedure comfortable from home. All you need is a valid photo ID, such as an ID card or passport, and a device with a camera. Different parameters are used and calibrated for the digital identity check. The photo takes in the course is used to print on your CampusCard.
2. Manual upload
   If you decide against the direct verification option via Video-Ident procedure, you also have the option to perform a manual photo upload. The admission must then be confirmed by your responsible institution on site before the CampusCard can be printed. After registration make an appointment with your secretary and bring a valid photo ID, such as an IC card or passport.

Ensure good lighting conditions and a neutral, bright background. For taking the photo you need a device with a camera. Please have a valid photo ID, such as an ID card or passport, ready for digital identification.

All internet-compatible browsers can be used to display the bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​ online platform.

The best display can currently be guaranteed by using the classical desktop view. We are already working on an optimized mobile view as well as other developments.

The automated emails with important information are initially sent to your official email address at the educational establishment, institution, or company that you belong to on the Bildungscampus. It is also possible to lodge an alternative email address for notifications during the registration process as well as in your bildungscampus.life​​​​​​​ user account.

If you, as a user, cancel your personalized CampusCard, then your user account will automatically be deleted after 90 days.

If you have forgotten your password for bildungscampus.life or you would like to reset it, you will find the “Password forgotten” button on the login page of the platform. You will receive an email containing a link to reset the password. The link is valid for 24 hours. Afterwards, you can assign your own password.
