From July 11th to 14th: Minor traffic disruptions affecting access to the retail parking lots
Construction is currently underway on underground parking and logistics areas in Section D of the site. These areas will connect to adjacent sections. To facilitate this, tunnels are being installed and temporarily covered with ramps to maintain access throughout the construction phase. This work will cause slight traffic delays entering and exiting the retail parking lots from Friday, July 11th, through Monday morning, July 14th, 2025. Access to the parking lots and all stores will remain open at all times.
From March 11: Start of Surface Demolition and Soil Remediation on the West Campus
Starting in March 2025, soil remediation measures will be carried out on the site of the planned West Campus. The site was previously used as a tannery and later as a storage area for oil and fuels. Initial test excavations have not revealed any evidence of contamination. To ensure the safety of all involved, the area of soil with potential contamination will be preemptively removed. The work will be carried out in accordance with regulations, with protective clothing and within a tented area.
The West Campus team is working closely with experts to ensure that the remediation work is conducted professionally. This measure ensures that the site is uncontaminated before construction begins, allowing the campus to be used long-term. The removal of potential contaminants is an important step in preparing the site for the planned West Campus construction.
